Mighty Cypress Talent Inc. is an artist management and event production company. Launched by Stu Anderson in 2015, Mighty Cypress is strongly focused on championing the success of a diverse roster of artists around the world. Mighty Cypress currently manages the careers of Begonia, The Bros. Landreth, Cairo Knife Fight, Joey Landreth, Living Hour, and Royal Canoe.
Mighty Cypress also provides talent buying and production services for music festivals. Stu has curated over 30 festival lineups of all sizes and genres, and thoroughly enjoys introducing audiences to new artists. Along the way, Stu has successfully secured festival headliners such as Big & Rich, Childish Gambino, Chromeo, Florida Georgia Line, K'NAAN, Ludacris, The Sheepdogs, and many more.
Stu received a nomination for Manager Of The Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards in 2015, and in the same year, was presented with the inaugural Kevin Walters Legacy Award, which is an annual award created by Manitoba Music in remembrance of Kevin Walters. Prior to diving fully into artist management with Mighty Cypress in 2015, Stu spent five years as a concert booking Agent at Paquin Artists Agency (www.paquinartistsagency.com), where he signed and represented acts across multiple art forms – from music to theatre to dance. While at Paquin, Stu played a lead role in helping the company establish and build a touring presence in the USA market. Stu was nominated for The Vanguard Award in 2012 by the Western Arts Alliance for creative artist marketing in the U.S., and, in 2013, was among The Uniter Magazine’s 30 Under 30 list.

Before making a full-time commitment talent representation, Stu wore a variety of hats as a club manager, concert promoter, production manager, and spent three years as the Marketing Manager of an entertainment chain in Canada. Stu sits on the board of directors for Manitoba Music, and previously served on the board of Arts Northwest until 2017. He participates as a juror for Canadian arts funding and award opportunities, and is a member of numerous industry associations.
